Unfortunately January is one of those times of the year where you are surrounded by these Things on an almost daily basis. Simply stepping out into the cold can be enough to cause a reaction, while being inside a centrally heated house can also dry your skin out and irritate your complexion. New bags, shiny pencil cases, smart blazers and bus passes are often top of the list when it comes to back to school preparation, but what about skincare. Getting young people into a beauty routine is a good idea and what better time than now to introduce them to something new for their skin?

Cleanse, tone and moisturise is a good place to start, so we’ll give you the low down on that first and throw in some added extra so you’ve got all bases covered and top marks will be scored.

Rosacea is a difficult condition to live with. It often takes a long time to find a combination of medications and skincare that help and covering it with make up can actually make thing worse. Rosacea usually goes hand in hand with dryness and sensitivity and many cosmetics dry the skin out even more, making covering the redness tricky as well. There are ways to tackle it though, and we’ve got some tips to help:

Keep Clean

Cleansing sensitive skin can be difficult – you want to make sure your skin is clean but using harsh cleansers can strip away natural oils and leave sensitive skin more vulnerable than ever.
