With Halloween and bonfire night over, we are now driving in the fast road to Christmas. Presents to buy, cards to write, parties to attend, school plays to watch and endless people to please, this might be a fun time of the year, but it can also be a pretty stressful, expensive one too.

While the humble cucumber is often only seen as an afternoon tea afterthought or an extra in a smoothie when the fridge is running low, it is actually jam-packed (excuse the pun) with natural goodness that can really benefit our skin.

Having a spa day is great for mind and body but not always for your budget and although many people try to do it at home, their experience is often lacking that true spa feel. Lighting

Trying to lay back and enjoy a relaxing face mask is no good if you’ve got bright overhead lighting going on, so adjusting the lighting is essential for a relaxing environment.
