 Dermalogica Pore Control Scrub

At Pure Beauty, we really appreciate our customers and their loyalty, so at the moment to say thank you, we are giving away free Dermalogica trial sizes of products with all Dermalogica orders.

There is no qualifying spend for this offer, although there is a minimum order value which must be reached before you can go to the checkout.

As this great offer is exclusive to Dermalogica products, so we thought we would have a look at what you could buy in-order to then get something for nothing.

Healthy skin has to be clean skin and for this you need the Dermalogica Special Cleansing Gel in your life. This soap-free, foaming gel takes away the dirt of the day, and the dulling dead cells from the night before, but doesn’t harm your natural moisture balance. Suitable for everyone, Balm Mint and Lavender extracts calm and soothe complexions, while magical Quillaja Saponaria gently foams away make-up and harmful toxins.

You might not think you need to use a toner, but we would have to disagree on that. The Dermalogica Multi-Active Toner is made from skin loving Aloe, as well as soothing Lavender, Balm Mint and Arnica which together add hydration after cleansing. Free from artificial fragrances and colours, far from drying the skin (this is what many people from a toner) this unique blend of goodness will keep your skin smooth and refreshed and will help your moisturiser to work better too.

Speaking of moisturisers, we love the Dermalogica Active Moist because it really does help you have better-looking skin. This lightweight, oil-free moisturiser simply sinks into normal and oily skin, offering it an invisible but effective barrier which prevents moisture loss and helps to blur those fine, dehydration lines.

As we are coming up to Christmas, you might want to add a little cheer to your skin, and the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque is the perfect way to do this. This relatively new, all-in-one treatment cleverly detoxifies, brightens and invigorates your skin so it looks fresh and glowing. The formula is fast acting and easily removed with warm water, and is the perfect way to rescue tired, lackluster, dull skin that might have been partying a little too hard!

We cater for all ages at Pure Beauty, so for the teens in your life, or anyone dealing with outbreaks, why not take a look at the Dermalogica Clear Start range? We are pretty impressed with the Dermalogica Pore Control Scrub, which as you would expect, washes away those clogging dead skin cells, while purifying the skin. Tea Tree Oil offers a natural antiseptic and antimicrobial that kills bacteria, and after the first use, skin is soothed and cooled thanks to added Licorice, Green Tea and Menthol.

If you would like more details about this offer, or the products we sell, get in touch today for expert advice.

Happy shopping.

Team Pure Beauty

Please note that the free Dermalogica trial sizes must be added to your basket at the time of ordering and cannot be sent after the order has been dispatched, for more details look at the website.

Jan Marini Luminate Face Mask

Every now and again, our skin can become dry, dull and a bit sad.

Stress, pollution, make-up and diet can all have an impact on how our skin looks and feels, but adding a mask to your beauty routine can help keep things on track.

We have had a look at the products we offer at Pure Beauty and we are pretty sure there will be something perfect to get your skin back on track.

If you are looking for something special, we would suggest trying the Jan Marini Luminate Face Mask. This luxury mask improves tone, texture and luminosity, from the very first use. Up to three times a week, apply a thin layer to your face, avoiding the eye area, and leave on for ten minute before washing away with lukewarm water. Exfoliators will gently remove dull, dry skin while calming agents reduce irritation and redness, leaving skin immediately brighter and glowing.

If you are looking for a classic, we high suggest the Dermalogica Skin Hydrating Masque. This easy to use product is perfect for restoring suppleness and reducing the appearance of fine, dry lines caused by dehydration. Botanical extracts of Cucumber, Arnica, Orange and Hops have been added to deal with inflammation and thanks to Vitamins A, C and E, skin is nourished and replenished from the very first application.

At Pure Beauty, we love the Elemis Fruit Active Rejuvenating Mask. Rich in extracts of Strawberry and Kiwi, this clay based mask is a fantastic deep cleansing, moisturising therapy for your skin. After use, the Vitamin C from the fruit extracts means improved elasticity and you are left with a smooth, radiant complexion.

If you are time poor, why not try the Dermalogica Charcoal Rescue Masque. This fast working, easily removed formula is heavenly for tired, dull skin and works wonders. Activated Binchotan Charcoal adsorbs impurities and Sulfur promotes cell turnover so that skin becomes brighter and this is further enhanced by the addition of Volcanic Ash, Sea Silt, Bamboo Extract and alpha hydroxy acids. The result is a skin revolution.

For a totally hydrating, soothing treatment, look no further than the Elemis Exotic Cream Moisturising Mask. A blend of gorgeous ingredients, including Honey, Bergamot and Samphire, not only nourish the skin, but also support the moisture barriers, making it perfect for anyone who works in a highly air condition environment such as an office or retail space. Good to note, that this is a multipurpose product and can also be used as an intensive treatment for dry hands and cuticles.

For a little extra pampering, we suggest trying the Decleor 2 in 1 Purifying and Oxygenating Mask. This products combines an exfoliant with mask to not only cleanse the skin, but hydrate it too. Thanks to Egyptian Loofah Fibres, dead skin cells are washed away and Spheres of White Jojoba swoop in to restore hydration, leaving your skin feeling soft and silky smooth.

A real Pure Beauty winner, is the Dermalogica Multivitamin Power Recovery Masque. Packed with super-concentrated antioxidant vitamins, this is perfect for calming stressed, prematurely-ageing skin. Vitamin A increases elasticity and moisture levels, Vitamin C helps restore suppleness and cool, calming botanical extracts of Liquorice, Comfrey and Burdock soothe the skin leaving it happy once again.

If you would like more information, or are interested in receiving samples so you can try before you buy, get in touch today and we would love to help get it right for you.

How to Make Your Hair Look Thicker

Unless you’re one of those people who are blessed with naturally thick hair, there’s probably been times when you wished your hair looked thicker. Obviously there are a few old wives’ tales about how to improve the thickeness of your hair (just FYI, having it cut doesn’t actually make a difference…) but there are ways to improve the appearance of your hair to create the illusion of thickness and we thought we’d take a look at a few of them.

Keep it Clean

Keeping your hair super clean will really help to improve the look of your hair, as hair which is weighed down with sebum and pollution will automatically look lank and much thinner than it is. We suggest a shampoo like Dermalogica Shine Therapy Shampoo, which will clarify the hair and wash away excess oil, leaving your hair looking thicker and bouncier.

Don’t Weight it Down

Using conditioner is essential for keeping hair in tip-top condition, but using the wrong one can weigh the hair down, leaving it looking flat and thin. Using Dermalogica Silk Finish Conditioner will allow you to add moisture back to your hair without weighing it down and will leave your hair soft and in great condition.

Keep it Trimmed

Although getting your hair cut won’t actually make it thicker (you have a limited amount of hair-growing follicles on your head and not much will ever change that), getting your hair cut can make it appear thicker. Over time, hair ends spilt and wear away, leaving the bottoms if your hair looking slightly ratty. Getting it trimmed (to shoulder length for optimum results) will make is LOOK thicker and is a great excuse for a bit of pampering.

Tease it

Back-combing may seem like something confined to the “things your Mum used to do” box, but using a fine-toothed comb to tease your roots will add lift and volume, giving you an appearance of thickness without the need for products or any other sort of witchcraft!

Get Highlights

Hair which is all one colour can lack body and movement because it doesn’t have any textire or definition. Having some highlights, even if they’re only one shade lighter than your natural hair colour will add volume and body to your hair and will make it look nicely thick.
